According to local police and coast guard officials, the wooden boat was spotted early Tuesday morning by local fishermen approximately two nautical miles from the popular Harihareshwar coastline, known for its pilgrimage sites and dense marine activity. “We immediately cordoned off the area and began our search and investigation protocol. No one has been found on board. The boat is being checked thoroughly for any suspicious contents,” Raigad Superintendent of Police, Saurabh Tripathi, told reporters at the scene.
